You will need:

- 1.75 mm crochet hook;

- yarn: Yarnart Jeans green color 69,orange color 70.

- Scissors, stitch marker or scrap piece of yarn;

- soft stuffing;

- yarn needle.

You can use the same pattern to make larger or smaller toys by using finer or bulkier yarn. Also you can use a different color yarn. Pick a crochet hook at least a size smaller than suggested on yarn label and crochet tightly enough to achieve a tight gauge that will not allow the stuffing to show through the fabric.

To keep track of the beginning of the rounds, use a stitch marker.

Cut off the yarn leaving a long yarn tail (about 30 inches(80 cm)) for fasten off and create ribbing
for the pumpkin.

Create approx 7-8 sections of the ribbing for the pumpkin to give it its shape.
To do this take the long end of the tail from the bottom of the pumpkin after you fasten off and attach to a sewing needle, pass through the centre of the magicring start and through the centre of the pumpkin and back through the bottom centre, pull yarn to tighten.
