Size of the finished toy:
About 9 cm long. With semi cotton yarn and a 1.75 mm crochet hook.
You will need:
- 1.75 mm crochet hook;
- yarn: Yarnart Jeans;
- scissors, stitch marker or scrap piece of yarn;
- soft stuffing;
- yarn needle.
Abbreviations:
mr, sc n = magic ring - crochet n single crochet stitches into the adjustable loop.
st/sts = stitch/stitches
Cs = chain stitch (UK=chain)
sl st = slip stitch (UK=slip stitch)
sc = single crochet stitch (UK=double crochet)
inc = increase= 2 sc in one st
dec = decrease = two sc together
(sc 4, inc) x n = repeat the pattern between parentheses n times
[n] = the number of stitches in the round
CARROT Use orange colour yarn.
Round 2: sc in each st around =[6]
Round 3: (sc 1, inc) x 3 = [9]
Round 4: sc in each st around =[9]
Round 5: (sc 2, inc) x 3 = [12]
Round 6: sc in each st around =[12]
Round 7: (sc 3, inc) x 3 = [15]
Round 8: sc in each st around = [15]
Round 9: (sc 4, inc) x 3 = [18]
Round 10-15(6 rounds): sc in each st around = [18]
Round 16: (sc 1, dec) x 6 = [12] (stuff firmly)
Round 17: dec 6 = [6]
Cut the yarn, hiding the end inside of the piece.

Cs 11, starting from the second chain from the hook sc into next 5 chains, sl st into the sixth chain, Cs 6, starting from the second chain from the hook sc into next 5 chains, sl st into next 5 chains on the beginning chain.
Cut the yarn leaving a long yarn tail for sewing and fasten off
